  17. I'm using MS-Kermit 3.14 beta 11, and it's been nice being able to help
  18. Kermit's progression in any way.  However, I have a problem that's been
  19. around since at least beta-4.  Sometimes when I'm online to here at
  20. Columbia things freeze up.  By accident I discovered that when I go into
  21. command mode and type 'show modem' or run a DOS program or whatever, the
  22. RD light on my modem snaps on again, and all's well with the world.  For
  23. a while this was happening a lot; I thought it went away, but it happened
  24. again a couple times today.

  26. Any ideas?  I haven't been able to reproduce the problem myself, but when
  27. it happens the 'show modem' method works every time.
